Terms and conditions

These Terms and conditions of use govern the relationship between Volta Riders and the people who use the app. By creating an account or using the service, you accept these terms, the Legal notice and the Privacy policy.

If you disagree with any of these points, don't use the service.

To create an account you must be at least the minimum legal age required in your country. If you're a minor, you need the consent and supervision of your parent or legal guardian, especially for location, meetup or contact features with other users.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you provide and for keeping your password confidential. Any activity carried out from your account is your responsibility.

Volta Riders is a community. To keep it healthy, you agree NOT to:

· Post illegal or violent content, child sexual content, content that incites hatred, harasses, threatens or impersonates others.

· Share spam, scams, unauthorized advertising or malicious links.

· Infringe the intellectual property or privacy of third parties.

· Manipulate rankings, clans, verifications or any app mechanic by fraudulent means.

· Use other riders' location to harass, stalk or put anyone at risk.

Breaking these rules may lead to content removal, feature restrictions or suspension or deletion of the account.

You keep ownership of the content you upload (texts, photos, videos). By posting it, you grant Volta Riders a free, non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, display and distribute it within the app in order to provide the service.

You declare that you hold the rights needed for the content you share and that it doesn't infringe third-party rights. You can delete your content at any time; some technical copies may remain temporarily for security or backup.

Volta Riders encourages responsible riding. Meetups, routes and map features are social tools: you decide how, when and where to ride.

You must always comply with your area's traffic and electric-scooter rules, use protection and not operate the device while riding. Volta Riders is not liable for accidents, fines or damages arising from the use of scooters or from taking part in meetups.

VOLTA+ is an optional paid subscription that unlocks additional perks. Payments are processed through Stripe. The price, duration and renewal conditions are shown before you subscribe.

You can manage or cancel your subscription from Settings. Cancellation stops future renewals; unless required by law or stated otherwise, amounts already charged for ongoing periods are not refunded.

You can delete your account whenever you want from Settings. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms, the law or that put the community or the platform at risk.

We may modify, add or remove features to improve Volta Riders. We may also update these terms; when a change is significant, we'll try to notify it visibly within the app. Continued use after a change implies its acceptance.

These terms are governed by the law of the Principality of Andorra, submitting to its courts and tribunals, without prejudice to applicable consumer law.
